The area of the small Baroque Palais built around 1727 consists of the main building and an additional service building creating an intimate courtyard.

The program included the restoration of the Palais and the erection of an extension for exhibition space plus visitor facilities.

The extension was conceived as green house (Orangerie), a characteristic addition to feudal ensembles.

The façade of the green house has triple glazing with louvered blinds in between to control the heat gain and the light glare.
