The Parliament is one of the most prestigious neo-historic buildings erected in the year of 1874-1883 following the design by architect Theophil von Hansen.
The general restoration and refurbishment concept resulted in a detailed definition of all the necessary measures for the updating in all safety and functional aspects of the building.
In detail necessary actions were listed for the compliance with building regulations, structural improvements, fi re protection, barrier free regulations, emergency access requirements and energy efficiency measures.
A detailed cost estimate was established which became the basis for the official budget.
